The 41st Denver Film Festival will open on October 31 and run through November 11, 2018. Ticket packages are currently on sale.
September 11, 2018 (DENVER) – The Denver Film Festival (DFF), produced by Denver Film Society (DFS), announced the dates for the 41st edition of the popular and critically acclaimed film festival: October 31-November 11, 2018. Considered one of the nation’s premier film festivals, DFF is known for presenting Academy Award– and Independent Spirit Award–winning films, along with hosting some of the world’s leading filmmakers, producers and actors.
“As we look at the 41st year of this storied Festival, our eye is on the future; how the next generation of films and filmmakers will shape our ever-changing culture and respond to the social and political climate of the world,” says Festival Director, Britta Erickson. “We are honored to continue to showcase for Denver audiences the finest in world-wide cinema from a diverse group of filmmakers.”
DFF41 will present more than 250 titles including local, national and international cinema, industry panels, achievement awards and tributes, as well as a Focus on Hungarian Cinema. The full 12-day Festival program will be announced on Wednesday, October 10.
The year-round home of DFS, the Sie FilmCenter, will serve as the anchor venue for the Festival. Screenings will also be presented at the UA Denver Pavilions on the 16th Street Mall, and all Red Carpet Presentations will screen at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.
